Maylo collects as little as possible. This page explains, in plain language, what we store, what Shopify handles, and what never gets collected at all.
What this website stores on your device
Your cart and saved favorites are saved in your browser's local storage so your selection is still here when you come back. When you start checkout, your selected items and any gift details are sent to Shopify to prepare your order.
Checkout and payments
Payment details go directly to Shopify and its payment processors; Maylo does not collect or store them. The studio receives only the information needed to fulfill a confirmed order, such as your name, email, shipping address, and what you bought. Shopify's own privacy policy applies when its checkout is used.
Email
If you email hello@shopmaylo.com — with a question, a custom idea, or to join the studio list — we use your address to reply and, only if you asked, to tell you about new drops. Unsubscribing is one reply: just say so. We never sell or share your contact information.
Product reviews
When reviews are enabled, Maylo stores the name, star rating, review text, and optional product photo you submit. We use security identifiers derived from your network address and submission to limit spam. Photos are processed to remove embedded metadata and kept private while awaiting review. Published reviews display the submitted name, rating, text, photo, and month; do not include private information in a review or photo. You can email hello@shopmaylo.com to ask about removing a review you submitted.
Website hosting and monitoring
Cloudflare hosts this website and provides request metrics and operational logs. These can include requested URLs, response status, timing, and related request metadata, which we use to monitor performance, investigate errors, and keep the site running.
