Handmade jewelry
Care Guide
Maylo pieces are small painted artworks. Treated kindly, they keep their color and detail for years — here is how.
- Keep pieces dry — take them off before showering, swimming, or heavy workouts.
- Put jewelry on last: let perfume, lotion, and hairspray dry before your piece touches skin.
- Store each piece separately in its pouch or box so painted and mirrored surfaces don't rub.
- Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Never soak, and skip alcohol and household cleaners.
- Hand-painted wood: avoid bending or pressure — the painted surface is sealed but the wood is light and delicate by design.
- Polymer clay: durable for daily wear, but keep it away from direct heat and long sun exposure to protect the colors.
- Mirror and resin details: wipe fingerprints with a dry microfiber cloth; pressure or sharp objects can scratch the surface.
